Identifying successful people and matching them to the right companies (and the right culture) is what we love to do. We love the challenge of taking on many different types of searches and have not limited ourselves to a particular market or industry niche. We have recruited CEOs, CTOs, sales and operations executives, clinicians, software developers, executive administrators and much more.
I began my career as a sales person with Del Monte Corporation (yes, think fruit cocktail and green beans). After receiving the Rookie of the Year award, I headed south to Texas to travel the world as a sales trainer for Compaq Computer Corporation - at the time a small, dynamic, fast-growing computer company in Houston. I held multiple roles there including serving as the VP, Sales' lead liaison to our key accounts. I introduced and demo'ed our new products to our top clients (and then asked for the order) and coordinated all "client board meetings." I served as Manager,Curriculum Development in my final role at Compaq prior to returning to the heartland.
I accepted an opportunity with Cerner Corporation that was to have been a 3-month contract assignment to assist with an urgent 60-person sales hiring blitz. (This is where I fell in love with recruiting sales people - nothing like it!) Cerner saw that I'd hired/fired and served in various sales/sales ops roles @ Compaq so assumed surely I could identify good sales talent for them in their time of extreme growth within the sales org. Over the course of my 13 great years at Cerner, I became a full-time associate, assumed the role of executive recruiter and eventually held the position of recruiting leader, responsbile for executive recruiting, consulting, sales and clinical roles.
While I never had a master plan to become a recruiter, I love my profession. I resigned my position at Cerner in May 2008 to come home to spend time with my 3, wild teenagers. I have now, quite by accident, fallen back into recruiting. Leaders with whom I've worked in the past began to call asking if I could help. My team's focus and determination have resulted in hundreds of sales, consulting and clinical hires and dozens of successful executive-level placements.
